Hollywood Days - Mario Lopez & Friends

If you are new to my blog, on Wednesdays I post about my experience in Hollywood as a former child/teen actress. If you want to start at the beginning of these posts go here.

(Me and Mario Lopez at Sea World on TeenBeat magazine weekend. There's my bud Christina on the right!)

Today I did my Confessions of a Former Childhood Actress post over at SurferWife's blog. I have only virtually met her through the blogosphere. She is full of spunk and she doesn't hold anything back. You've been warned. On Fridays she talks about celebrities she waited on/met when she lived in Santa Barbara and worked at Palazzio. She has a highly scientific method of ranking the celebrities based on her encounter with them. I decided to clear the record (kind of) for some of the celebrities she ranked. Go check it out.

  1. Thank you for realizing my scientifical-ness.

    It's a gift.

No, but really, thanks for sharing on my blog! I have a feeling you may get some traffic here today. My readers are all celeb obsessed. Especially, Cher from The Only Girl. ;)

  3. I am jealous that you are standing in a picture with Mario Lopez. I LOVED him in Saved By The Bell (as I'm sure many girls did, lol). Not that I'd really like him today, but back then, definitely. :) I'll check out your guest post later!

  4. Hi. I'm one of those obsessed people that Surferwife was just talking about.

Celebrity encounters are like my crack (you know...without all the terrible side effects and rehab). Awesome post on her blog today! It makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside to know that Mario was actually a nice guy.

  5. I'll be the random commenter and say that the thing I was most excited about was Palazzio....mmmmmm... I can smell the garlic rolls now. Ahhhh.... I miss Santa Barbara restaurants.

  6. SurferWife - you are fun.
Ashley - Thanks for reading. Reading is fundamental.
Emily - Saved by the Bell. Who knew it would become such a classic for us old moms?
Salt - Let me know if you ever go to CE rehab. You'll probably see other celebrities there because they are often in rehab. Glad to give the better side of Mario.
Terpsta East - I have never been to that restaurant. Wanna drive there with all our kids for a play date?

  7. Not that it's all about me...but what was up with my hair?! Can I blame it on the heat and humidity? Yikes.

  8. Okay - Surferwife is right. I AM celeb obsessed. Likely because I've never met any. Which is why I like to live vicariously through people like SW. And now you!

  9. Yes. I think we definitely should. And then I can drag you to Carlitos for some killer Mexican food, Piranha for some delicious seared Ahi, The Palace for a chocolate souffle with whiskey cream sauce, over to Longboard's (classic) for a Cookie Monster (yes, we'll have dessert twice), gotta hit up Blenders for a smoothie (Jamba Juice PALES in comparison), Peabody's for some pub grub, Dargan's for a shepherd's pie... oh I could go on and on... Now I'm really hungry.
