My Grandpa Didn't Die Yet Either

We were at a birthday party for Lydia's friend, Kaleb. She approached his grandpa and the conversation went like this:
"Are you Kaleb's grandpa?"
"Yes."
"My grandpa and grandma didn't die yet either."
