Random.org picked #16 . . . which is KQ aka Kathi. I actually know Kathi from church and she has already purchased 10 books from me! I love that she is coming back for more. Kathi, I can give you the book at church.
And because it is Christmas and all, I decided to pick another winner. Random.org picked winner #2 to be nikihas3!
Congrats! And check my blog 12/13/10 for another way to win my book and to get some clean water to people who need it!
Wanna win a copy of Totally Desperate Mom: Keepin' it Real in the Motherhood? I know many of my readers have already read it (because they are related to me), but so what. Don't you know other moms who could use some encouragement? Don't you like free stuff? Do you know some psycho pregnant ladies who need to know what beauty and crazy is in their near future?
(Disclosure: No children were harmed in the taking of this photo. However, Lydia was held against her desire and Elijah was trying to have a good attitude so he could earn his Thursday video-game time.)
You can have up to 6 entries:
1. Leave a comment and tell me your favorite book or that you never learned to read.
2. Follow this blog with passion and then leave a comment. Why is this important? I have no idea. It's not. If you want, just leave a comment about something you are passionate about. Unless it is USC. If that's the case, keep it to yourself please.
3. Wrestle with your son or play princesses with your daughter and then leave a comment telling me either who won the wrestling match or which princess you were. And if you think that is sexist, then just interact with your kid on their level and then let me know about it.
4. Do 10 push-ups or 50 sit-ups and if you have enough energy after that then leave a comment that you did it.
5. Tweet about this contest or just admit on twitter that you are a totally desperate mom.
6. Become a Totally Desperate Mom fan on facebook.
And please don't blame Jesus if you don't win . . . even though you have praised him 24/7. Just go buy it here directly from me or on Amazon. But I must warn you, the price keeps going up on Amazon and I have no idea why.
All spectacular entries must be in by December 12th at 11 PM. You only have 2 days so don't procrastinate this highly stressful task. Don't forget to leave me your contact info and/or link to your blog. You will get your prize before Christmas.

You make me laugh. I can't believe I haven't read your book yet. Can I buy it for my nook?
My favorite book of all time (other than the obvious and obligatory "The Bible" answer) is Hinds Feet on High Places. :)
i am a follower!
my son Ro and I have tickle wars on a daily basis! I usually win but that could be because I'm twice his size and he likes to lose.
Your blog is great! I would love it! My favorite book has to be Gone with the Wind.
I am a passionate follower!
My favorite book is Hinds Feet on High Places like Jenn above!
I follow you, and I LOVE UCLA, Fight Fight Fight!
I did 15 pushups on my knees does that count! :)

follower!
Favorite book - Hinds feet on High Places, too!!! I don't know Jenn but I bet we'd be buds! Hi Jenn!

Son wasn't in mood for wrestling... just wanted his back scratched and cuddling!
Does 3 push ups count? Because seriously... I had no idea I could no longer do 10 pushups... sad times.
Just found out another friend is pregnant, so I need another book! She is due in May! Actually it is my friend's daughter. And her daughter is 35, so she was worried that she wasn't going to have any babies, so she is really really excited about this one. So she needs to read the book. hmmmm. Really? Maybe it would scare her??? Nah!
My favorite book would have to be A Wrinkle in Time...one of my first chapter books and I couldn't put it down and was totally captivated. Kind of made me fall in love with reading...
I am a passionate blog follower...love your humor in the face of everything life may throw your way.
Spent time this afternoon playing with my daughter and her new playschool nativity that she got for St. Nick day from the grandparents. I loved introducing her to her first nativity!!!
I did 10 push ups because 50 sit ups seemed like torture. But I have to confess, they were the "girl" kind of push ups...you know where you are on your knees so you don't have to lift ALL your weight. It totally still counts though.
I became a totally desperate mom on facebook too...now everyone knows!
My favorite book to read is the Bible. I honestly don't read anything else besides children's books!
I'm a follower! I just found out that I'm a newly *pregnant* psycho ladie and I would LOVE this book.
I did 30 situps... Does that count?
My son took a blanket and laid it over toys and baskets in our dirty living room. Then set up his Little People Nativity on it. Instead of making him clean it all up, I played with him in his new "comfy home".
O . . . K. I just did . . . 52, that's fifty TWO . . . sit-ups, and 11.5 push ups . . . PLUS three lunges and a squat. I am no mother, but I did get to baby-or, infant-or kid . . .whatever a 4-year-old is. Anyway, I watched my friend's amazingly adorable adopted Korean son, and he spent the morning in my back yard, which he calls CactusWorld. After he had thoroughly explored the back yard, we went to the front yard, where he made snow angels in dead leaves, and we followed the adventures of a little red spider he named Chris. This is vicarious motherhood. I also vicariously mother a lot of Asian kids at UCLA, and I am pretty passionate about that. These kids make me laugh out loud. I mentioned Joan Jett to one of the college kids, and she asked me if Joan goes to our campus Bible Study. They remind me how old I am. Tonight, we have a "survivor's party" for all the kids who've just taken their midterms and survived sleepless nights of studying and potato chip-eating. I have already read your book, and told all of my friends, blog-readers, and strangers about it. So if I've written a worth entry, you can reward me by simply writing to me . . . or leaving a comment on MY blog. But my writing hasn't been so good lately-what with all the sit-ups and push-ups and lunges and squats-, so you might want to go back a few months.
Oh, and my favorite book is Spiritual Mothering by Susan Hunt. All her books are amazing!
The best post I ever posted was titled, "Looking for Life Through the Ages" on Feb. 26, 2007. Please tell me your thoughts on it. Thanks.
You crack me up! Would love to win your book - I, too, can't believe I haven't read it yet. I'm a follower!
Your blog is funny. My fave book is Sarah's Key. I'm allergic to exercise so I can't do push-ups or sit-ups. We have the same first name and our last names rhyme (mine, too, ends in "en" and the 2nd letter is an "a"). 5 letters. Pick me and you'll find out : )
I live in the Bay Area and my son is a rascal.
Happy Holidays!
I totally need some encouragement as a mom! I really want to read this. One of my favorite books of all time is The Art Of Racing In The Rain. I read it last summer and neglected my family to read it. I finished it in my driveway while my husband mowed the lawn and my kids were playing. I cried so hard I had to use a dish towel to wipe my chin. I didn't even care that I was sitting in a yard chair, in the driveway crying about a book. SO GOOD!
I totally deserve a copy of this book because I just servived a Family Christmas Brunch, a 4-year old Pump It Up Birthday Party, and a 1-yr old bday party which we hosted at my house. I have sang Happy Birthday three times today and some how managed to only let my kids have 2 kinds of juice/punch and 1 1/2 cupcakes while eating way too much fondue myself. And that was my day. So I need a copy of this book to make me laugh.

I don't get to be the princess with my girl...I have to be the baby! Every morning when she gets up, she crawls into bed with me, puts me in a choke hold and says, "I love you, my baby." So, I gladly play the baby! :)
I love to read, but I'm not sure I have a favorite book--there are too many good ones to choose from! But I have read "The Little Prince" more times than I can count, so I guess I'll go with that.
