Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the room,
Snot was a flying, and puke from my womb.
The stockings were hung by the chimney by me,
So you know they weren’t perfect, but just let them be.
The children weren’t nestled all snug in their beds,
Cause fevers and coughing filled their sweet heads.
And Dad in his pants, and I feel like crap,
Had just settled our tired bods for a long winter’s nap.
When out in the hall arose such a clatter,
Dad sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Out of the bed, Dad sprung to his toes,
To find poor Elijah with snot on his nose.
As I lay there nauseous I wondered “What is that smell?”
Just the sweet, sweet aroma of the nearest Taco Bell.
When what to my wandering ears should appear,
The cries of Lydia filling my ear.
Oh the Hagen madness, will we ever get rest?
Not when that baby comes and hangs on my chest.
Would St. Nick ever come or was he sick too?
He never gets sick because he’s not even true.
“Now Elijah! Now Shiloh! Now Wendy! Now cats!
Oh Lydia! On Baby “?”! As Momma gets fat.
Least Dad is not sick and is not getting large,
He’s taking care of his family, leading the charge.
Happy holidays to all whether healthy or ill,
May you have time with your family to sit back and chill.
To reflect on the meaning this Christmas does bring,
The Savior’s love and his birth gives us reason to sing!

Welcome friends, family, randoms, lurkers, blog addicts, fellow desperate moms, and Bono. This blog consists of mostly funny stuff that will make you feel better about yourself. Lots of mom comedy, non-Kodak moments, and un-fashion tips. On Wednesdays I write about my life as a former childhood actress complete with posts about how the entertainment business works, actors I met (or stalked), people and animals I worked with, my Hollywood friends, and photos of former teen heartthrobs. And if that’s not enough to draw you in to follow me . . . I have done some amazing giveaways. A rubber chicken, millions of doll hairs, and unlimited supplies of air. Come join the party.

Congratulations! I hope your sick days end really soon!
I loved your Christmas poem; you really should consider writing children's books. You are so creative!
Merry Christmas Hagen Clan!
Love,
Cheryl
Okay, so I just have to say that I laughed out loud at the picture of Shiloh at the bottom... although I wouldn't recommend posting too many pictures of your hubby appearing seemingly nude... :)
LoL. Let me say, for the record, that I was wearing apparel. Specifically, I had some glasses on and a book among other items.
Okay, I thought my Night Before Christmas poem Christmas letter was pretty darn creative. . . but you just kicked my bootie.
And it DOES look like he's naked. . . TL
