We had a great Thanksgiving at my parents' house. My name is Wendy and in my 34 years of celebrating Thanksgiving I have never cooked a turkey. This year was no different. But I throw together a sweet salad or tasty dessert.
My cousin Kara, Jordis and niece, Kylie.

Welcome friends, family, randoms, lurkers, blog addicts, fellow desperate moms, and Bono. This blog consists of mostly funny stuff that will make you feel better about yourself. Lots of mom comedy, non-Kodak moments, and un-fashion tips. On Wednesdays I write about my life as a former childhood actress complete with posts about how the entertainment business works, actors I met (or stalked), people and animals I worked with, my Hollywood friends, and photos of former teen heartthrobs. And if that’s not enough to draw you in to follow me . . . I have done some amazing giveaways. A rubber chicken, millions of doll hairs, and unlimited supplies of air. Come join the party.

My name is Mel and I am 30 and I have also never cooked a turkey. I leave that to the pro, my mom. I do cook side dishes though. I love the family picture! Very cute!
Welcome mel.
Great family picture.
I cooked my first turkey this year. It was a happy-first-birthday turkey for Gavin though, not a Thanksgiving turkey.
Ok, #1 GREAT family pic!
#2 Two words for you - OVEN BAG. Ok, so maybe cooking poultry in plastic isn't the healthiest thing for you, but once or twice a year ain't so bad. Plus it is seriously FOOL PROOF! I've never messed up a turkey using one of those! You have gotta try it sometime... unless you WANNA hold onto that "I've-never-cooked-a-turkey" claim to fame thing. Why start now? :)
Kind of welcome Becky and Mama V.
