A few weeks ago Elijah had his buddy, Kaiden, over. The kids were playing in the backyard while I was in the house with Jordis. I went to check on them and then realized it was raining. I'm glad I didn't know it was raining earlier or I probably would have been a good mom and called them all inside right away. Instead they enjoyed a few minutes of childhood bliss. They had fun and nobody got sick or ruined their clothes or messed up their hair or lost an eye or slipped and cracked their heads open.
