When Lydia and I were getting ready for her birthday party she slipped away and went in my closet. Then she poked her head out and said, "Mom, thanks for letting me fart in your closet. Because I just did."
I managed to keep a straight face and said, "Lydia, that's not very princess like of you."
She responded vehemently, "Mom! Don't tell Ariel!"

ROFL! WHERE do kids come up with stuff like this? That's great. I used to fart in the dressing rooms when I worked at Dillard's to keep it from stinking up the sales floor. And I'm sure my former boss would be so proud.
My kids are all about gas right now. In fact my 4 yr old sings "Gas, gas, gas, gas..." to the tune of Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. Everyday it's "gas this, gas that." If the government knew how much methane was talked about in our house, we'd get taxed.
What do you mean not princess like? At least she didn't do it right next to you! I think for a four year old that's pretty polite. :)
