Bloggers are Weird

Pin It Now! I don't know about you, but most of my real life friends don't have a blog. Or read blogs. Therefore, I meet up with strangers who blog and they become real life friends. Not creepy at all.

Tuesday night we had a meet. Mel and I are neighbors and I knew her husband when Guess jeans with zips on the ankle were awesome. Seeing her was a thrill, but not a risk to my well being.

I met Jessica from bloggy/twitter world and we have a bunch of mutual friends. So I didn't bring my pepper spray when we met up for dinner a few months ago. We liked each other and so met up again and she brought Kim. And since Jess brought Kim, I figured there would be no crimes committed at dinner. Safe.

I met Keri of Forever Folding Laundry a year ago at Mel's house when the Project 320 girls were in town. Again, safe bet. Women getting together to bring clean water to needy children are probably not serial killers. They just break pregnant ladies' water.

So the only person I didn't know on Tuesday night was Denise from Victory Rd. I didn't even know she was coming. Should I have brought a firearm? Perhaps. Cuz she busted out with Loud Denise at Cold Stone Creamery. Just kidding. It was hilarious. I loved her. And I introduced her to cake pops so I'm kinda on a self-esteem high right now.

Here we are at dinner, but you must hop over to Victory Rd to check out Denise's vlogging of our evening.

i am glad all of you bronze beauties are willing to hang out with pale me.

the only tanning i get is from watching jersey shore.

I know what you mean! I have met a couple fellow bloggers and that initial get together is always awkward..."Are you normal?", "Yes...are you?", "I think so"...{insert nervous laughter here, clutch emergency 9 key on cell phone}. Especially in my circle, we tend to me at barns in the middle of nowhere, creepy! However, I'm pleased to say everyone has been so nice and one of my readers/fellow bloggers is now even a good real life friend!

So much fun! I think it's great to meet other bloggers with the same interests as you - makes life fun and makes the friendships last longer! :)

Looks like you all got along just fine!! I wanted to go to a conference this year to meet some ladies that I've been blogging back-and-forth with through the past year...but that didn't happen :( Maybe next year!

Well. I just feel really left out. Thanks for the invite. What? You don't think I would've bought plane tickets for one fun bloggy night out? You don't know me.

No really. YOU. DON'T. KNOW. ME. Muhahahahaha! Watch out, Wendy. I'm comin' to getcha!

Okay that was weird. I hope this is buried far back enough that no one else read this.

Someday I will hang out with you and Mel!!!
