I like big . . . flowers and I cannot lie. You other brother can't deny. Too bad my cats eat them and then throw them up so we can't really have them in the house. Unless I am in the mood to clean up throw up.
These are from our yard.
These are from Seattle.
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear? For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matthew 6:28-34

Love this post. I love flowers, too, but I love the message you shared even more!
So pretty! My cats eat flowers too....I get so mad because I love having them in the house. Sometimes I put them up on some crazy high top of a bookshelf or something to try and have them without the cats destroying them, but then you can't see them because they are up so high out of your sight line, AND I forget to water them up there! Doh. I used to have some bitter apple spray I sprayed on them that makes them taste bad to the cats so they'd leave them alone, but I think I ran out or lost it or something. I should try that again. Oh, life with pets....isn't it grand?
Oh the flowers are just gorgeous!! I was just reading that same scripture this morning!!
