We went back to Grams house Saturday night. Sunday we drove to Newport Beach and stayed with the Olson family. They have two little boys. One of them (Jake) is Elijah's age and they are buds. Keri Olson was one of my roommates and best friends in college. We left the kids with the dads and Keri and I drove to LA for a birthday party for Natalie Nuce. Natalie was the Athletes in Action staff gal at UCLA and discipled both of us.

Now I will give you one hundred thousand doll hairs if you can guess what kind of restaurant we went to for the Birthday party. This was the remnants of our communal meal. Don't worry, we washed it down with Diddy Riese (hot spot in Westwood where you get two fresh baked cookies with ice cream in the middle for $1.50).

We spent the night at the Olson's and then returned to Casa de Grams on Monday, but stopped at the Brown household on the way back. As you can see, Lydia had a great time with Chris.

Had New Years Eve at Caleb and Kate's house. Partied like rock stars...or more like old people that don't even stay up until midnight. Then Shiloh made his Mom do this lame pose with the glasses and we left.

Welcome friends, family, randoms, lurkers, blog addicts, fellow desperate moms, and Bono. This blog consists of mostly funny stuff that will make you feel better about yourself. Lots of mom comedy, non-Kodak moments, and un-fashion tips. On Wednesdays I write about my life as a former childhood actress complete with posts about how the entertainment business works, actors I met (or stalked), people and animals I worked with, my Hollywood friends, and photos of former teen heartthrobs. And if that’s not enough to draw you in to follow me . . . I have done some amazing giveaways. A rubber chicken, millions of doll hairs, and unlimited supplies of air. Come join the party.

IMPRESSIVE Solecki. 100 doll hairs will immediately be deposited into Ella's account! How did you know it was Ethopian?
I was going to guess some sort of Indian cuisine. You are sooooo international! How old is Shiloh? 12? His mom looks no more than 32. Seriously, I thought it must be his sister.
My guess was Ethiopian, too.
(Master Sleuthing skills-> check out the background of the picture of you and Pheebs, under her arm.) Is that cheating??? :)
Oh yea i didnt notice that poster in the background... i could tell by the distinct variety of spices and herbs i could see on the plate...
;)

Crud, I didn't notice the pit poster either otherwise I would have blacked that out. Oh well, sounds like Brian won despite his lack of due diligence. He's just a genius. Probably from eating a lot of Ethiopian food.
