Hot Chocolate Disaster

Pin It Now! I like hot chocolate. I got some fancy hot chocolate for Christmas. It seems no matter how hard I try, I can't get the shavings and chunks of chocolate to completely melt. This morning I tried really hard. A little too hard.

AND THE CHOCOLATE CHUNKS STILL DID NOT MELT ALL THE WAY! Any suggestions? And this does not count, "I just add hot water to mine and it's done. What with this milk business?" Thanks Dad. Your powdered hot choco mix from 1976 is not gonna do the trick this morning.

I have the best answer for you, just ask a mormon about hot chocolate! It's called the Cocomotion (google it) and it is made by Mr. Coffee and it heats the milk and melts/mixes the chocolate at the same time, like magic! I got mine from Wal Mart for about $15 (I think, it was 2 years ago) and it works great with Williams Sonoma chocolate shavings which are difficult to dissolve.

I had no idea hot chocolate was a Mormon craze. I really just need to bust out and get a machine... my girlfriend has one (not sure it is the cocomotion) and hers always comes out perfect. But where does one store all this Mormon stuff (trampolines and hot choco makers?)

We store the hot chocolate maker in place of an actual coffee maker & as for the trampolines, it doubles as a bed for all those darn kids we have. Another mormon craze, in case you are interested, is Jell-O, no joke. Utah is the highest selling jell-o state per capita by far. My family does not eat too much, except for the 3 packages I just made for Easter.

My suggestion; forget the home made stuff and head to Bittersweet Cafe. The Hot Peanutbutter Chocolate is to die for!

Joc,
Time for you to do a post entitled
"Tales from the Mormonhood"
with all the Mormon crazes.
Also, will you please email the pic of addie when she got lipstick all over her. I think it would make a good stylin saturday post.

Oh, and sarah. Will have to try the peanut butter choc at bittersweet. Sounds awesome and not messy.
