**Please say a prayer for me today. I am doing 2 breakout sessions at the Design 4 Living Conference. Pray that I would be an encouragement to the desperate moms! Last night the conference started out with awesome worship and a talk by former MOPS president, Elisa Morgan. She was powerful and hilarious and I was blessed to sit next to her at the speaker dinner. Kerri Pomarolli did stand-up comedy and was legitimately hilarious. And honestly, I think a lot of comedians are not funny. She was funny, funny. The night ended with a concert by FFH. I totally thought they were going to be lame. Never really heard their music before, but they were really popular and award-winning in the 90's and early 00's. I just envisioned scrunchies and cheesy Christian songs where everyone holds hands and sways to the cheese-beat. I was wrong. They were awesome. I really like their style and their music.
Back to Stylin' Saturday . . .
Always mix and match party themes.
That's a tip from Lydia who dressed up like Ariel (more pics and a blog post to come at some point in my life) for her 4th birthday party last weekend. And she picked out a wedding cake and a bridal bouquet.

Welcome friends, family, randoms, lurkers, blog addicts, fellow desperate moms, and Bono. This blog consists of mostly funny stuff that will make you feel better about yourself. Lots of mom comedy, non-Kodak moments, and un-fashion tips. On Wednesdays I write about my life as a former childhood actress complete with posts about how the entertainment business works, actors I met (or stalked), people and animals I worked with, my Hollywood friends, and photos of former teen heartthrobs. And if that’s not enough to draw you in to follow me . . . I have done some amazing giveaways. A rubber chicken, millions of doll hairs, and unlimited supplies of air. Come join the party.
