Insanity & Brownie-Dipped Oreos

Pin It Now! Today I did the hardest workout in the history of the world. Month 2 of Insanity. Sixty minutes of death.

I made up for that hard workout by making Brownie-Dipped Oreos tonight. Thank you Julie for tweeting about Jeannett making them. I think Jeannett got the recipe from hello, Good Gravy, who got it from her friend Karen. Sounds like gossip, but we are just talking about recipes here so simmer down people. Simmer down.

The kids were not interested in these at all. It was only from looking at this picture I realize Jordis could have easily fallen face forward onto the hardwood floors or into the deliciousness due to her unsafe positioning on the chair.

I added some Valentine's sprinkles. I did one batch in the cupcake pan (as per instructions) and one on a baking sheets as per I only have one cupcake pan.
They didn't come out looking to perfect and pretty, but they tasted great. The good news is that I only had two even though I wanted four hundred.

Pin It Now!

OK. Now you owe me a walk around the block chatting about kids and such. Or wine. Or high heels and how I hate them. The end.

So I haven't been reading your blog for a long time, but this is the first time you've mentioned Insanity.. please tell me you didn't START with a month 2 workout!? I've seriously done month 1 at least 2-3x because I am so out of breath still that I don't feel ready to move on to month 2!!

How you managed to get through month 1 with two kids is beyond me. I just have a dog and a cat and a 40 hour on-my-feet all day job... you rock.

Tonja,
I can see how it would be hard to do it when you get home from work. I do it while on the job (motherhood). Usually when Elijah is in school and Lydia and Jordis are home. I either put on a show for them or give them playdough. Sometimes they just play and mess up the entire house. And I always get interrupted in some form. The second month ones are 60 minutes so I think I will only be able to do every other day or break them in half. It is just too long - too much damage can be done in the house while I am working out.
