When I was filming The New Lassie I lived with friends of the family in Southern California. My family was in Northern California - a 6 1/2 hour drive away or an hour flight. Some weekends I came home to visit or they would fly down to see me. Instead of being at soccer games or dance competitions or other traditional high school weekend outings, I could often be found at a charity or publicity event with other young actors. And because I was working on the Lassie set every day this was the main way for me to meet other young people and make some friends.This particular event was called Celebrity Teen Talk and I have no recollection what that was, but I know we ran around Magic Mountain and went on a bunch of rides. And we probably didn't have to wait in line. And I wore a bracelet made of beaded safety pins and I know they are about to make a comeback.
Let's see how good your late 80s/early 90s Teenbeat memory is - how many of these young actors can you name? Whoever* accurately identifies the most people wins a lifetime supply of nothing, but this is still a really important challenge.

I can't name any of them. But, if you photshopped my face with the blonde with the scrunchie the cut off jeans, bunchy socks and Reeboks.... that would have been me. For reals. Not ashamed about it either. :)

Jessica and Katie - IMPRESSED. I actually had to look up Zachary Ty Bryan because I didn't know who that was. So it's not him. The guy at the far left, top row (who I think you thought was Zachary) is Paul Sherrer http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0771121/. He was on a show called "Free Sprit" with Alyson Hannigan. Bottom row far left is Donnie Jeffcoat and next to him is Hilary Van Dyke. She was on The Munsters Today with Jason Marsden. Not sure who the guy on the far right is. Way to go TeenBeat friends.
