Small Business Launch for Moms
Many mothers in the developing world have a burden on their shoulders. Often, due to death, abandonment or loss of family support, they are left alone to raise their children. Many need a helping hand to acquire the skills, knowledge and resources to care for their families. Your gift will help provide information on the best income-generating options — from tailoring to animal husbandry — along with necessary training and support needed to run a small business.
Protecting Children at Risk:
Children can be vulnerable even in their own homes. Children with severely ill parents, children who must serve as the head of the household, or children who are at risk of abuse or exploitation need extra attention and protection. Your gift will help Compassion minister to these children in need. Help often comes in the form of providing a safe place to live, legal care, and/or foster care for a child who is living in an unsafe environment.
