Our First Marriage Retreat

Pin It Now!
Last weekend Shiloh and I went on our first marriage retreat. We went with my friend since 5th grade, Sara, and her husband Dave. It was like prom all over again. Not really.

We met up with Dave and Sara at the Sonoma Mission Inn along with about 100 other couples from Bayside Church in Roseville, which is Sara and Dave's church. They own it. Along with thousands of other people. And don't feel bad if when you read Bayside Church you immediately wonder if Slater and Zack Morris go there. Totally normal.
And yes, Sara won best hair in high school.

We had such a fun and relaxing time!

And we made a few new friends too!
The wine country was beautiful, but I have no pictures of the ridiculously green hills. Sorry for that.

It was so nice to get away with my man for a few days. It was also nice to return to these little faces . . .
Thanks to my Mom and Dad and Kevin and Trisha for taking care of the kids so we could get away! Can we do this every other weekend?

Love it!!! So fun to hang with you guys, childless! Let's do it again next year.

Did your group color-coordinate your outfits? That would make a perfect Christmas picture, ha! :)

Is it wrong to covet your neighbor's marriage retreat? I'm thinking yeah. There's always next year though...

We are so glad we got a chance to meet you and Shiloh and hang out with you. Heck, we even made your blog. I am feeling almost famous. :) Thanks for the great weekend!

Tegan,
It's not wrong because you are coveting your own (church's) marriage retreat.
Sarah,
Can I have your autograph?
