Haha... I recently tried to announce my pregnancy via a picture of my 2yo wearing a "Big Brother" t-shirt. After 10 tries, I simply had to explain to the email recipients that he was unhappy about having to sit still, not about the baby.

I LOVE this picture! LOL! And yes...I totally do face resistance. I've blogged about it too, because at least if you can't get a good picture, you can get a good post out of it!

I follow you on GFC...and don't regret it!

I have a 3yo who never smiles. We had family pictures done at Disney before my husband deployed last year and she isn't smiling in one. She is either scowling or sucking on her fingers. Someday, right?

I follow you!

Our last "good" family picture was in 2009. Does that count? :)

I have a 6yo daughter who is ALWAYS ready to pose, but my 4-next-week-year-old is TOTALLY anti-photo, and my 2yo is ... well, TWO!

Haha! Glad I'm not the only one! Just tried to get our crew (ages 5,3 & 1) to pose next to their cousin at her b-day party. . . my 5 & 3 year old boys literally began wrestling next to her, while my 1 year old screamed her head off! Way to keep it real!

you are not the only one and i have blogged about it before also. we recently had family pictures taken and luckily the photographer commented that she can "switch faces and heads around if necessary". love that about technology. we had 170 pictures (she was also teaching several apprentices so took lots of extras) to look through and in less than 25 of them all of us were smiling, looking at the camera and not blinking!

bloopers make great blog posts!

I recently tried to get a family picture taken. It took 30 mins for my 3yo to finally sit down and cooperate. By that time we were hot, tired and blotchy-eyed. Fun times!

I am not sure who is worse...my three crazy boys or my husband! He claims he was tortured by his mom and the camera so I try to be nice about it...but dang it, I want a family pic of MY family. :) I had success this summer at the beach. We're all beached out but who cares. Coordinating clothing and perfect smiles aren't always what they are cracked up to be, right? :)

Oh you are MOST DEFINITELY NOT the only one with uncooperative kids during pictures!!!!! I have five kids..all 3 and under! It's nearly impossible to get a picture with everyone looking at the camera..or sitting still..and BEYOND impossible to get one with everyone smiling! UGH!! I could go on for ever about this!!! I do love the fun pics though..just wish I could get a really good one without the photographer having to take one kid out or one pic and putting it in the one with the rest of us! Haha!! Thanks for the giveaway!!

I recently had my newborn daughter's pictures taken and she did not want to cooperate at all! (She is only 7 weeks though and it is impossible to be frustrated with her.) She spent most of the one hour photo shoot either sucking on her hands (or trying to) or crying. Also, she doesn't like having her hands touched so when the photographer tried to take photos of her hand in mine, she kept yanking her hand away! She finally gave us some smiles at the very end of the session. :)

I also have a son who always tries to make some weird facial expression during our family portrait sessions! **sigh** Typical boy... Gotta love 'em!
