Hollywood Days - A Magical Lassie Clip

Pin It Now!
If you are new to my blog, on Wednesdays I post about my experience in Hollywood as a former child/teen actress. If you want to start at the beginning of these posts go here.
--------
Wet seal mania. A dog volunteering for a magic show.

I found this clip from The New Lassie YouTube. (If you are a newbie, I was a regular on this show for it's 2-season run back in 1989-1991.) The clip is 10 minutes long, but it's almost like Harry Potter meets CSI, but starring Merlin and Lassie so it might just captivate you. I can't believe we never won an Emmy especially for my stellar acting when I say the line "Magic would be me getting an A on my English paper." Wow.
You might recognize my Lassie mom Dee Wallace from a million things (including E.T. and Cujo) Will Estes (formerly Will Nipper) who now stars on Blue Bloods on CBS. And my Lassie dad was Christopher Stone who I recognized at the Lassie audition from Days of our Lives. He and Dee were married in real life. Sadly, Chris passed away of a heart attack in 1995. I loved my Lassie family.

That was really fun to watch! It made me laugh. I doubt we'd see a television show today where a strange caped man comes to the door and the family just says, hey sure we'll hire you, and why don't you stay for dinner. And the Mom felt bad that he wouldn't sleep on the couch? Pretty sure I wouldn't have even answered the door. Not that I am against helping people, but I wouldn't invite a stranger in for dinner and offer him up my couch! It's always fun hearing about your Hollywood days. :)

Kelly, Hilarious, huh? It would be cool if we lived in a world that would let Merlin in for a meal. And stay for dinner. And long for him to stay the night. Totally safe and trustworthy, good 'ol Merlin.

Thanks for posting it. I loved the show, as I already told you per email. Such good memories. It's also nice to hear your real voice (I was used to dubbing) :D!
