Clothes in the Refrigerator

Pin It Now!
This happened in September, but am just getting around to sharing this with you . . .

One of the things you must have when you are implementing my 270-Day Potty Training Method, which has turned into the year-and-a-half potty training method, is a change of clothes in your Dirty Minivan at all times. Last week I had to replenish that supply because Lydia had made use of that emergency set. I put it in a ziplock bag and brought it downstairs. Loaded the kids in the car. Where was my ziplock with the extra clothes? Where had I put it? I could not find it anywhere so I put together another one and figured I would find the original later.

I found it about 5 days later. Right there in my refrigerator. Just where I had left it. Bottom drawer. Of course. It was nice and chilled.
My name is Wendy and I am a Totally Desperate Mom.

Go ahead and feel better about yourself now. I'm okay with that. That's what I'm here for.

Yes, I am not only in the potty training department! Thanks so much for being the honest desperate mommy that you are!

Oh mommy brain...so that word "only", it was suppose to be "alone." Mommy brain strikes again!

Okay, I haven't actually done that....but, it's definitely something I'm capable of!

Apparently, refrigerators are great storage places for things like hair brushes, toys, telephones and TV remote controls. Just ask my daughter Tori. :)

This makes me feel so much better about the turkey lunch meat I found in the pantry (unrefrigerated!) last week. :)

Wendy... I really want to be your friend. For a few reasons. First of all, you make me laugh. I like people who make me laugh. I like laughing, because it adds years to my life. People like you are my secret to living to 100.

Also, I think Jordis and my Emma would get along swimmingly. Emma would love the 'Jesus loves God' song and she would teach Jordis the mashup of Bad Romance and Jesus Loves Me that she sings.

:)

Madonna,
Potty training and laundry. Perhaps taken 10 years off my life?
Danielle,
Let me know when it happens.
Jenn,
It's acceptable for a toddler, but for a 35 year old? What's my excuse. The toddlers.
Songskatesang,
That's nothing. Child's play really.
Flippyhippy,
Ok. Friends.
